Boots for work or while hiking are your
best friend, get a bad pair or no pair and you'll spend the day wishing you had
them. Even construction workers who don't hike around but spend their whole day
walking around on uneven ground will tell you, a good pair of boots are worth
whatever they cost. If your looking for hiking boots they range from discount
off brands to custom high end boots that cost hundreds of dollars. Even if you
can't afford that you can still buy a good pair of boots, you just have to use
your head. First off you have to figure out how much your willing to spend
on your pair of boots. Most good pairs run between $75 and $150. You can however
find good ones on sale especially in the off season. What you plan on using
them for will have some bearing, if your using them for work you might want to
consider a pair of boots with air cushions in them. If you going to be hiking
on some rough territory with maybe a pack then support will be a huge issue. Also
wheather or not the boots are waterproof is also something to consider. When
you try them on whether in a store or after they arrive from an online outlet,
simply put trust how your feet feel in them. Even if they are highly rated boots
from a magazine, if they don't feel right then send them back.
